At Stybarrow Cottage our aim is to provide comfortable accommodation so that you can enjoy your stay in the Lake District - whether you're paddling in the lake with the kids and need somewhere to dry the wellies; whether you're running up those hills and want a warm shower or bath to come back to; whether you want to relax in the garden and enjoy the scenery; or whether you want to enjoy a good meal with family and friends.

The cottage more than met our expectations - very comfortable - everything here we wanted - or could want. It felt more like a home than a "rental" - from the welcoming fire to the little things. Many thanks for enabling us to have a relaxing, yet energetic long weekend in the hills.

The AKS Duke of Edinburgh Award leaders love staying in this cottage - we always have a warm welcome and the beds are lovely and comfortable after a day out on the hills, checking on our students who were doing their Gold D of E practice expeditions. An added bonus was sitting outside on the patio to have breakfast in the sunshine! We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough - it ticks all the boxes.
