Stybarrow Cottage was built at the end of the 19th century as a miner's cottage. As the history of Glenridding has evolved, so has the story of our cottage. In recent years, it has been lovingly extended and refurbished to provide comfortable holiday accommodation for up to six people.

Our cottage is located at the heart of the village of Glenridding. You are only minutes from the shores of Ullswater and there are numerous walks from the cottage. Our holiday cottage in Glenridding is ideally located for walkers, climbers, cyclists and watersport enthusiasts.

From the cottage door you have easy access to Helvellyn and the High Street ranges and a superb choice of mountain walks. Or you can enjoy gorgeous lakeshore strolls and woodland and valley walks.
